Balance Rewards Is Being Replaced With myWalgreens! Q & A

As most of you already know, the rumors are true 🙁 Balance Rewards is ending! Walgreens is replacing Balance Rewards with myWalgreens! Beauty Enthusiast is getting a makeover! The program will no longer be available beginning October 31, 2020, but if you join the new personalized experience, myWalgreens, you’ll continue to earn rewards on your favorite beauty purchases and so much more. Here is what we know so far:

Q: When does myWalgreens launch?

A: myWalgreens is coming soon! We’ll let you know when you can sign up.

Q: Will my Balance® Rewards membership automatically transfer to myWalgreens or do I need to sign up?

A: Your Balance® Rewards membership does not automatically transfer and you’ll need to sign up for myWalgreens, but it’s free and easy! Plus, you can keep your benefits and earn more rewards. Make sure to sign up by January, 31, 2021 to keep your points balance.

Q: How do I sign up for myWalgreens?

A: When myWalgreens launches, you can easily sign up by visiting myWalgreens.com or with the Walgreens App, or at Walgreens stores. Keep an eye on your inbox for your invitation to join! More details are coming soon.

Q: What happens to my Balance® Reward points?

A; When you sign up for myWalgreens, we’ll automatically roll over your remaining Balance® Rewards points balance to your new account, where you can still earn and redeem. Remember to transfer your account by January 31, 2021 to keep your points balance.

Q: Will I lose my Balance® Rewards points?

A: No, don’t worry—your points balance is safe as long as you sign up for myWalgreens by January 31, 2021. We’ll automatically roll them over for you after you enroll in myWalgreens.

Q: What happens if I don’t sign up for myWalgreens?

A: If you don’t enroll in myWalgreens by January 31, 2021 then your Balance® Rewards account will be deactivated and you’ll lose your existing points balance. But it’s free to join, and we’ll automatically roll over your points balance as long as you sign up before then.

Q: Will AARP members still receive benefits when myWalgreens launches?

A: Yes, valued AARP members will continue to receive additional exclusive benefits! More details are coming soon.
