POINTS:
Q: What do I do if my points were not applied to my account
A: You can call customer service and let them know. You will need to show proof of your receipt. 1 (800) 925-4733
Q: Can I redeem points and still earn points?
A: This is the most common question that we get, so stay with me on this and I will explain.
You CAN redeem and earn points if your promo is a simple buy 2, receive 3000 Points, your good. Use all the coupons including manufacturer, store, Register Rewards and Balance Rewards Points.
You CANNOT earn points on a spend $12, receive 3000, (otherwise known as a threshold promotion) UNLESS (This is where it gets a bit confusing) You meet a specific coupon limitation. Let me explain:
You CAN use points as long as you stay above your threshold amount. For example, the deal is Spend $30 and earn 10,000 Balance Reward Points. So, you would need to have $30 after points & store coupons. Manufacturer coupons and RRs count as cash essentially. (STORE COUPONS DO NOT QUALIFY)
Example:
Subtotal is $80
Tax is $5
You have $35 in coupons and or cash
You can pay $50 in points
Because you cover the $30 spend and cover the $5 TAX.. you have to cover the tax.
You will get the points that way every time
There is nowhere in the Walgreens system that states this but the proof is in the pudding. (See Photo below) Many store employees do not know this is possible so if they tell u that will not earn the points. Just say “ok that’s fine. Ill pay with my points anyway”
PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT recommend doing this if you are new to shopping at Walgreens. Personally, I do not like promoting this but the question comes up and I do not newbies getting confused since the answers in the Walgreens Group fluctuates due to the fact that you really can pay/earn on a “Spend” promo.
Q: Can I use points on gift card purchases??
A: No
Q: Is there a max limit to spend your rewards?
A: $50 is the Max Limit
Q: What are the increments I can use for rewards?
A: You can redeem them as follows:
Q: How long does it take for the points to show up in my account?
A: Your points will be credited to your account immediately and will show up on your receipt so you can keep track. Pharmacy purchases may take up to 24 hours to credit.
Q: What if I have to return an item that gave me points or if I have to return something I bought with points?
A: If you return something that gave you points, the points will be deducted from your total. If you return something you bought with your points you won’t get your points back but will get store credit.
Q: Is there a limit on how many points I can redeem in one transaction?
A: The limit is 50,000 ($50.00).
Q: Do points expire?
A: Yes, points expire on a 12 month rolling basis. In other words, you have a year to use any points you earn from the day you earned them.
Q: Can manufacturer coupons be combined with Walgreens booklet coupons
A: Yes it can
Q: How can I tell if this is a Manufacture Coupon or Walgreens coupon?
A: Manufacturer Coupon says Redeem In-Store or Online (Pictured Below). If it was a store coupon it would say “with card”
Q: Can I use a Coupon on a Buy one Get one FREE promotion.
A: No you CANNOT. Per the Walgreens Coupon Policy: When items are featured in a Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion, at least one product needs to be purchased. A maximum of one BOGO coupon is permitted per two qualifying items in a BOGO offer.
Q: Can register rewards be used with manufacturers coupons?
A: Yes, but you will need a “filler” item. The register reward is considered a manufacturer coupon so you would need to use it on something you don’t have a coupon for already. SO, You go to the register and pay for the M&M Candy (hypothetically speaking) You have a coupon for $0.25 off that M&M Candy. BUT you want to make your out of pocket lower so you want to use the Register Rewards. Since that RR is counted as a Manufacture Coupon you would need something small/Cheap to work with that coupon. 2 Items 2 Coupons. You cannot do 2 coupons 1 item.
