Lilla Rose Flexi Clip – Review & GIVEAWAY!

Have you heard of Lilla Rose?  Lilla Rose makes beautiful, yet functional HAIR JEWELRY!  They are best known for the Flexi-Clip.  Not only are these BEAUTIFUL, they are AMAZING!  As a busy mom of five, and a 24/7 blogger (that sports her best bed head more often than I care to admit), I simply don’t have a lot of time to spend on my hair.  I was fighting with it on a daily basis.  That is, right up to the point that I was given the opportunity to try one of the Lilla Rose Flexi-Clips!

I have to admit, I got a little giddy once I started exploring the website.  There are so many unique and beautiful designs, I had a hard time choosing!  There is something for everyone, from plain to fancy, simple silver or beaded in rich colors.  Some even have dangles!

Lilla Rose Flexi-Clips were made with all hair types in mind.  They come in various sizes, ranging from Mini to Extra Large.  Here’s a quick video to illustrate the different sizes as well as some of the styles you can do!

 

After watching the sizing video, I decided to go with a small clip.  My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it.  My style of choice most days is the classic pony tail, and I decided the small would work best for me.  These are so much better than the typical hair band I was using.  I’ve tried the ‘ouchless’ elastics, even the fabric ones.  I always ended up with a headache at the end of the day.  Not with the Flexi-Clip!  When I used the elastics, I had to wrap the band around multiple times to hold my hair, otherwise it would just fall down.  The Flexi-Clip holds my hair tightly, and it doesn’t slip.  It literally takes just a few seconds to put in, and it’s COMFORTABLE.  It’s also very gentle on your hair, so no breakage like you see with typical hair bands.

Since I rarely step outside of my (boring) box with my wardrobe, I chose a Flexi-Clip with a pop of color.  This is the one I’ve been wearing… isn’t it gorgeous?!?  (I have several others on my wish list.)  When its not in my hair, it’s never far away. I carry it with me to style on the fly.  You can style your hair in seconds on the go.  It’s seriously that easy.  These are even GREAT for Kids!  The Mini size is perfect for little girls!  And what little girl wouldn’t feel like a princess with a Flexi-Clip like this in her hair?  (I really love this one too…)

These clips are figure eight shaped and are made from flexible wire that allows the clip to bend around your hair.  The pin slides underneath the hair, and fits through the other side, snapping into place.  There are a couple of different divets in the pin to accommodate different styles, the most common being the pony tail, tails up, half up and the French twist.  I’ve had my clip for several weeks now so I’ve had plenty of time to play with it.  I absolutely LOVE IT, and I’ll bet you will too.
