If you know anything about me, you know that I love my kitchen gadgets! Especially when it comes to my knives. I don’t know about you but for me, finding a good knife set is a bit of a challenge. There are just so many factors in choosing the perfect knife. Of course, everyone has their personal preferences but I have found mine! I recently had the pleasure of reviewing 2 items: Farberware Food Huggers and Farberware Knife Block Set and let me tell you, I was super impressed!

Farberware Knife Armor Dishwasher Safe Knives and Knife Block Set

These knives are crafted high carbon stainless steel blades perfect for everyday use and precision while cutting. The knives and shears are durable and long-lasting. Farberware handles are ergonomically designed for comfort and better control while cutting. They are lightweight for easy precision and has a non-slip handle that provides a sure grip even when wet. This set includes 8” chef knife, 8” bread knife, 5” santoku knife, 5.5” serrated utility knife, 3.5” paring knife, (6) 4.5” steak knives. My ABSOLUTE favorite part about these knives is that they are sharp and go right into the dishwasher without rusting. The MSRP for individual knives run between $9.99-16.99 and the Knife Block Set is $69.99.

So far I have run these through the dishwasher numerous time and it has not rusted at ALL! When I tell you these are some super sharp knives, it is no joke. I always purchase my Chicken Breast whole and slice them into thin pieces so when I was slicing, I took a chunk of my skin. So, yeah, super sharp!

Farberware Food Huggers

The Farberware Food Huggers fit perfectly on a variety of fruits and vegetables like lemons, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and many more. They can also be used to reseal open jars in cans. The Farberware Food Huggers are made to help extend the life of your unused fruits and vegetables. This set of 4 food savers includes (1) 1.75-inch, (1) 2.25-inch, (1) 2.5-inch and (1)3-inch food hugger. These food savers are made from food safe, BPA-free silicone. All huggers are dishwasher safe, making clean up quick and easy. MSRP for a set of four for is $9.99.

I was very impressed with these Food Huggers. For the most part, I am usually throwing out half of my onion as I never use the entire onion but this time I was able to save my other half without it going bad. As you can see on the onion, it still had the juices even after a week! I was excited!
