I am in no way a position to hand out fashion advice, but I happened to pick up a pair of ponte pants at Costco on Friday, and I love them so much I thought I would share!
I try very hard not to go to Costco very often, largely because I end up spending money that I really shouldn’t spend… on things that I really WANT verses NEED. There are a few things that I do pick up at Costco that are cheaper than I can get elsewhere with coupons… like Uncrustables sandwiches that my boys eat like crazy, bread, buns, milk, etc. Plus, they have awesome flowers and some super deals on clothes (here lies where I can get in to trouble). I pick up Carter’s Pajamas for my littles there all the time… they sell the Carters brand cheaper than Carters, even when they’re having a sale. I’ve also picked up some nice shorts and T-Shirts for my older guys, Quicksilver and other ‘tween’ brands that are cool these days. I usually don’t end up with much for myself (except for the FOOD, which also can get me into trouble – look for the La Creperie Crepes, just sayin’).
On Friday, however, I stumbled upon this table with these Calvin Klein Ponte Pants for ONLY $16.99. The first thing that came to mind was what the heck is a ponte pant? I am a t-shirt and yoga pants or jeans kind of girl that sits on the computer a ridiculous number of hours per day and chases children in between. I’m all about being COMFORTABLE. I picked up these pants in chocolate brown and decided to give them a try. I have to say that from the minute I put them on my body, I fell in love. They are stretchy, but not clingy (65% cotton, 30% polyester and 5% elastane). I’m telling you I could sleep in them, they’re THAT comfortable. Plus, they look really nice and are quite flattering!
I went back last night and picked up the other 2 colors… Black and Gray. These have a zipper and button closure. For me, they hang like a crop pant (ankle), which is great for summer/spring. (My legs are long so I have a very hard time finding pants long enough.) The legs are tapered so they look super cute… with my Converse or sandals. I am also planning to wear them with boots in the fall. At ONLY $16.99, and Calvin Klein, I thought it was a DEAL worth mentioning.
If you’re looking for a comfy, yet stylish pant, be sure to look for them if you make your way to Costco. My store had TONS, and I think they just came in recently because I hadn’t noticed them before last week. Let me know if you try them!

Hi! Yes, I have 2 pairs and I need more! My costco doesn’t have them anymore. I’m hoping they come back because they are $60 on Calvin Kleins website! My black ones have a stain on one leg now, I really would have loaded up on every color, if I knew I would have loved them so much!
